Fun with Pronouns!

OK, let's have some fun with pronouns. Or... if not fun... maybe some other state-of-being less akin to wanting to stab your eyes out with your pencil.

If you Google "pronouns," you will find a lot of sites about... pronouns! Imagine that!

Here are some good ones I found with some interactive quizzes:

This one is really good. Make sure to read the explanations after you take it:

http://www.usingenglish.com/quizzes/67.html

For both of the following quizzes, answer the question in your head first, and then drop down the correct answer from the little box:

There! You can probably find a ton of other ones, but those should suffice for now.

So... how did you do? Any questions about a particular one? Post about it, and I'll try to write back when I can.

  4. And do I need a cover, or will a picture on the first page suffice?

  5. You need a cover if you're making it into a book. Also, using "slang" is fine for this assignment, because you are using a character's "voice" to tell the tale. If the character would say, "OMG!" and stuff like that, then it's fine.

Oh, and no last names when you post here. =)
